Cincinnati, OH-based distribution of industrial management and related products platform Thermal Technology Distribution Solutions acquired Minneapolis-based Applied Thermal Systems (ATS).
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
ATS is a distributor of electric heaters, controls, thermocouples and other related thermal management products. Established in 1986, the company offers a wide range of services to customers across the Midwest.
“Partnering with ATS helps us enhance our presence in the Upper Midwest region, diversifies our customer base, and strengthens our technical capabilities,” TTDS CEO Jeff Collier said in a Dec. 11 news release.

This marks TTDS’s fifth acquisition since its establishment in September 2023 by private equity firm Gryphon Investors. Previous acquisitions include Big Chief, Inc., Proheat, Southwest Heater and Control and Thermal Devices.
