New South Wales, Australia-based hand tools, diamond tools and safety products supplier OX Tools acquired Tracer Tools from England-based ROYD Tool Group UK.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Tracer Tools is a distributor of professional marking products and tools for the construction industry. The England-based company provides marking solutions, measuring tools and all-purpose markers to trade professionals.
“The integration of Tracer Tools into Ox Group will bring valuable efficiencies through our shared services and will allow the tracer brand to become a global icon,” Global CEO John Cunningham said in an announcement. In addition, our customers will benefit from consolidated operations and allow them to streamline their processes. Effective immediately Tracer products can be purchased in the U.S., Canada and Australia through our existing OX Group network.”
OX Tools said that acquiring Tracer Tools is a strategic move to enhance its PRO brands, allowing for efficiencies through shared services and leveraging expertise to better serve partners.
The Tracer Tools brand will now be accessible in regions where OX Group Global distributes, creating new opportunities for its retail partners.
