Foodservice, packaging supplies, industrial products and janitorial supplies distribution Imperial Dade acquired California Janitorial Supply Co. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
This is imperial Dade’s 17th acquisition in 2024.
San Jose, CA-based California Janitorial Supply is a distributor of janitorial supplies in Silicon Valley and the greater San Jose market. The company was established in 1985 by Michael Chiappe.
“Michael and the CalJan team are highly respected for their expertise, focus on quality and customer service, and we look forward to investing in their continued growth,” Imperial Dade Chairman Robert Tillis said in a Nov. 4 news release.
The transaction marks Imperial Dade’s 93rd acquisition under the leadership of Robert and Jason Tillis. The company’s previous two most recent acquisitions were of Reno, NV-based Inland Supply and Phoenix-based Excell Direct.
Imperial Dade recently announced two key leadership appointments, adding former BradyPlus executive Jeff Roberts as Senior Vice President of Business Development & Commercialization and appointing Fareed Kahn as CFO.
Imperial Dade was No. 2 on MDM’s Top Distributors List for JanSan, Packaging & Disposables.
