Construction and industrial supplies distributor White Cap acquired JLA Supply. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Established in 1974, JLA Supply — previously known as John Latta Associates — is a distributor of sealants, waterproofing and concrete accessories, operating from six locations throughout Oregon, Washington and Idaho. The company serves non-residential and residential markets and operates under the guise of three business brands depending on the market: Sealant Specialists, SECO Construction Supply or Cascade Construction Accessories.

Portland, OR-based JLA Supply is now integrated into the White Cap suit of brands, branches and value-added services.
“The JLA team has immense product and service knowledge and an established footprint in this growing market,” White Cap CEO Alan Sollenberger said in a Feb. 4 news release. “By joining forces, our customers will benefit from additional product offerings, locations and service excellence. I am excited about the opportunity to work with such a dedicated and talented team as part of the White Cap family.”

White Cap made 14 acquisitions during 2024, including its most recent acquisition of Batavia, OH-based Site Supply, completed on Dec. 18.
The company was No. 11 on MDM’s Top Distributors List for Industrial Supplies and No. 8 for Building Materials/Construction.
