Plumbing, HVAC and industrial supplies distributor Ferguson promoted Bill Thees to Chief Operating Officer, effective Feb. 1.
According to a Jan. 13 8-K SEC filing, Thees’s responsibilities will expand his oversights to include the company’s supply chain and facilities functions.
Thees currently serves as Senior Vice President, having previously held the role of SVP of Business and Sales from 2018 to 2024. He leads and directs the Waterworks, Fire & Fabrication, the Own Brand Business, enterprise-wide Sales, Operations and Wolseley Canada.

Thees began his Ferguson career in 1990 as a trainee in Orlando, FL, and has since held key roles, including branch, general and district manager.
