Irving, TX-based residential building products distributor PrimeSource acquired Harney Hardware.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Tampa, FL-based Harney Hardware is a distributor of branded door and bathroom hardware. According to the news release, the acquisition strengthens PrimeSource Brands’ Kitchen & Bath segment, which offers more than 850 SKUs.
“The Harney team has developed an impressive portfolio of products that complements our existing offerings,” PrimeSource Brands CEO Tom Koos said in a Dec. 10 news release. “The acquisition of Harney further advances our mission to create the leading branded specialty building products platform with the most extensive service network in the industry.”
This marks PrimeSource’s sixth acquisition since partnering with investment firm Clearlake Capital Group in December 2020.
The company’s most recent previous acquisition was of Montreal, Canada-based Cobra Anchors, completed on Aug. 16.
