Electrical supplies distributor Springfield Electric Supply Company — a subsidiary of Sonepar — appointed Willie Collier to Senior Vice President of Sales.
In his new role, Collier will oversee the company’s sales strategy, drawing on his 27 years of industry experience.
“Willie has been instrumental in cultivating strong relationships with our customers, vendors and our associates,” Springfield Electric President Chris Scarbrough said in a Nov. 6 news release. “His leadership comes at an exciting time as we continue to expand our footprint across the Midwest.”
Collier previously served as VP of Commercial Business Development, where he identified market opportunities and sales initiatives.
Springfield Electric operates under its namesake Springfield Electric brand, as well as Holt Electrical, Pepco and Richards Electric.
Sonepar was No. 2 on MDM’s Top Distributors List for Electrical/Data/Security products.
