Beacon, a Herndon, VA-based wholesale distributor that specializes in roofing, waterproofing and related exterior products, announced an expanded alliance with Bellevue, WA-based aerial imagery, software and analytics provider EagleView.
The partnership includes the integration of EagleView’s roof measurements with Beacon Pro+, an eCommerce platform. Smart Order — available through Beacon Pro+ — is a digital tool that provides contractors with fast and accurate ordering.
“Beacon’s collaboration with EagleView makes it easy for contractors to quickly and accurately place digital orders, allowing them to run their business more efficiently and profitably,” Beacon’s Chief Commercial Officer Jonathan Bennett said in a July 22 news release. “Continued investment in our digital platform increases customer loyalty and enhances profit margin driving, above market growth in line with our Ambition 2025 strategy.”
EagleView — known for its geospatial data and imagery library — offers differentiated software through its technology portfolio which compromises more than 300 patents.
“EagleView is proud to collaborate with Beacon, making it easy for customers to turn measurement reports into orders all within Beacon PRO+. Beacon PRO+ automates workflow, saves time, and increases efficiency for roofers,” EagleView’s Senior Vice President, Construction & Solar Allan York said.
Beacon — No. 5 on MDM’s Building Materials/Construction Top Distributors List — operates over 560 branches throughout the U.S. and Canada.
