Foodservice, packaging supplies, industrial products and janitorial supplies distributor Imperial Dade appointed Fareed Khan CFO, effective Sept. 9.
Khan — an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience — recently served as the CFO of JustFoodForDogs (JFFD), where he helped to improve the company’s financial infrastructure. Prior to that, he was the CFO at Kellogg Corporation and U.S. Foods.
“His strong strategic and financial acumen and extensive experience scaling distribution businesses will be instrumental to driving Imperial Dade’s continued robust growth,” Imperial Dade CEO Jason Tillis said in a Sept. 9 news release.
At Imperial Dade, Khan will be responsible for overseeing the accounting, finance, tax, internal audit and shared services functions.
Imperial Dade has frequently made acquisitions throughout 2024. The company’s most recent previous acquisitions were Nevada-based Inland Supply and Phoenix-based Excell Direct — both announced in August.
Imperial Dade was No. 2 on MDM’s Top Distributors List for JanSan, Packaging & Disposables.
