Forklifts, cranes and other material handling products distributor Wolter Inc. acquired Dedicated Material Handling Solutions (DMHS).
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Atlanta, GA-based DMHS is a material handling solution distributor with another established location in Buford, GA.
“Acquiring Dedicated Material Handling Solutions is a natural extension of our growth strategy and a significant expansion into the Southeastern U.S,” Wolter Inc. CEO Jerry Weidmann said in a Sept. 3 news release. “The Atlanta Metro area is a dynamic market, and we’re excited to deliver our comprehensive solutions here. Together with the DMHS team, we are committed to driving success for our customers and reinforcing our commitment to exceptional material handling solutions nationwide.”
Through the acquisition, Brookfield, WI-based Wolter Inc. expands its materials handling product line — forklifts, automation, robotic technologies and more — to DMHS customers. Additionally, the company’s technician training program and tech support system will now extend to the Southeast U.S. region.
